If you're a heavy Twitter and Facebook user, RockMelt will really suit you. It's fast, very well thought-out and the social integration is better than anything else available. It may be in Beta, but RockMelt looks and feels like a finished product already.



RockMelt is, as mentioned, all about Facebook. If offers a clean interface with your Facebook contacts running down the left side of the window, RSS feeds running down the right side, and a search bar next to the address bar. Between the two is a "share" button similar to the one in Flock. Facebook chat is integrated right into the browser, a useful feature at least. And when you first open RockMelt, there's a splash page that gives you a little information about the browser itself. Everything works and works fairly well.

NOTE : Although the browser was launched in private beta on November 8, 2010 for desktop, it is not currently supported on the PC or Mac due to work on the iPad and other mobile releases. Rockmelt is now exclusively for iOS (both iPhone and iPad), with versions for Android, Windows 8, and desktop planned.
