How to open/get Adf.ly in India -Trick

I was stunned when my browser failed to load adf.ly. At first I thought it was my browser playing with me. So I switched to another browser. But it to failed. Then I Googled "Adf.ly not working" and i i found out - 'the domain adf.ly has been blocked in India, by the Department of Telecom (DoT)'. Don't know why they did it (they don't have an explaination).



Then i Googled "alternatives for Adf.ly" then i found Linkbucks but unfortunately it was too blocked in India. Trapped ! Don't have any good URL shortner.( Don't know why the government is playing so hard against us).

But finally,  I found out a way to open adfly links in India(not a trick but something helpful). Just follow the below simple steps in your browser.

♪ ♪ Let See How We Can Unblock Adf.ly in India 

1. Open your browser
2. Type in/ Paste the desired adf.ly url. For example, let us use " http://adf.ly/TEDIM "
3. You'll be seeing a dead end (a blank screen), something like shown in the picture below :

4. Now's the trick
Change http - https



For example here, change " http://adf.ly/TEDIM " to " https://adf.ly/TEDIM "

Done !
5. Now you can browse all those adfly links ☺
